- Swam the Big Shoulders race in 2011. It's a 5k swim in Lake Michigan
- I've lived in 5 different states: Iowa, Louisiana, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
- I was a cheerleader at Iowa for two years (Never cheered before college)
- A Friend and I won the 2008 State Farm programming contest
